The eSID3 Cable Kit is needed for:
Setting the system clock to make the service interval and timer controlled parking heater to
work, if the car has an aftersales stereo head unit
Connecting the eSID3 12V controllable output, for instance for a shift-up LED or controlling a
relay (with flywheel diode) and configure the eSID3 when it should be active (for instance
Vehicle speed above 50km/h or when a switch is pressed)
The eSID3 Cable Kit consists of four cables, and they are all intended to be connected into empty
slots in the OBD-connector. All four cables have the correct OBD-terminal in one end.

Black (Ground reference to the Red cable, open on the other end)
Green (Cable for adjusting System Clock. The other end of the cable has already terminal to
fit into an empty slot in the BCM connector. No cutting or splicing!)
Purple (Cable for the switch input interface. The other end has already terminal to fit into the
IP-switch panel next to the Stereo/Navigation unit. No cutting or splicing!))
