The eSID supports the option to select output source. eSID can control the internal 12V Digital
Output and/or the Extra Light Relay output in the engine compartment.
The reason for this can be many and opens up many possibilities. For instance, control “under floor
lightning” based on vehicle speed, or only when unlock light active.
Note: Its recommended to not have the Extra Light relay functionality enabled in the car, i.e. so only
eSID can activate it and its not activated unintentionally when high beam goes active.
Note2: Extra Light Relay CANNOT be used on US/CA/MX markets due to they use that output for their
headlights.
