Poor print quality?
Small blemishes on the card
l The card surface may be dirty.
Check that your cards are perfectly clean.
Use new cards.
Avoid using the printer in locations with excessive dust or dirt.
l Transportation rollers.
Use a cleaning card to clean the transportation rollers.

Horizontal white lines
l The ribbon is not correctly tted.
Check that the ink ribbon and the Transfer lm are correctly positioned in the printer.
Check that there are no wrinkles on the ink ribbon and on the Transfer lm surfaces.
l Print head dirty or damaged.
Clean the print head.
Blurred image
l The ink ribbon or the Transfer lm is not correctly tted.
Check that the ink ribbon and the Transfer lm are correctly positioned in the printer.
Check that there are no wrinkles on the ink ribbon and Transfer lm surfaces.
l Poor ribbon synchronisation.
Open and close the front cover to synchronise the ribbon.
l Dirty printer or cleaning rollers.
l Use of incompatible cards.
Check that the cards used match the specications.
We recommend that you obtain your cards from an Evolis reseller.
Use of cards obtained elsewhere is liable to adversely affect print quality and/or damage the print head.
If problems persist, please contact your Evolis reseller.
