EVS Broadcast Equipment SA
Issue 2.0.7.2 September 2021
64 Supervisor
Note
This parameter affects only 1 PM systems with interlaced
video.
For best performance of the system this box advised to be
checked at all times.
On how to build Stages and Scenes, please, refer to the
User Manual.
Note
This parameter doesn’t affect progressive video productions.
At 720p50, 720p59.94, 1080p50, 1080p59.94 a 1 PM
system has a latency of 3 frames. SDI outputs are in sync
with reference.
GPU Processing
The GPU Processing mode can be selected from the drop-down menu.
Options available are 8 bit and 16 bit.
This menu option changes the color depth of processing video by GPU
only. The default mode is 16 bit. Switching to 8 bit can optimize your GPU
load and this compromise may be noticed in moderate quality of gradients
on CRT monitors.
Note
I/O boards and CPU are not affected by GPU Processing
mode changes.
GUI and Control Panel are not affected by the GPU
Processing mode changes.
Note
The GPU Processing setting must be identical for all Processing
Modules contributing to a Production Cluster (those which have
the same Cluster-ID).
If you want to revert the modifications, use the Cancel button and
subsequently use the Main Menu button.
