Checking the Mower Deck
Front-to-Rear Pitch
1. Adjust the tire pressure in the rear tires to the
cor rect specications .
2. Set the slope of the mo w er dec k to the lo w est
setting; refer to Adjusting the Slope of the
Mo w er Deck .
3. With the mac hine on lev el surface , position 1
blade front-to-rear .
4. Measure at A and B locations from a lev el surface
to the cutting edg e of the blade tips .
Note: T he mo w er blade should be 6 mm (1/4
inc h) lo w er in front at A than in the rear at B .

Leveling the Mower Deck from Front
to Rear
1. Loosen the jam n ut and side bolt in the y ok es that
y ou w ant to adjust.

Note: R otate the bolt cloc kwise to raise the dec k;
rotate the bolt countercloc kwise to lo w er it.
3. Tighten the jam n uts and side bolts .
4. Chec k the front-to-rear pitc h; refer to Checking
the Mo w er Deck fr om F r ont to R ear section.
