TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
HF WideRX filter: LPF (low pass filter) 0-65 MHz (Chebyshev I - 7 Order)
Narrow band pass filter for VHF 2M: 144-148 MHz (SAW Filter) - preferred for normal operation
VHF WideRX: 95-155 MHz (Butterworth - 5 Order)
Also SunSDR2 DX has filters which are a part of the RX path and cannot be switched off:
HPF for VHF (100 MHz cut frequency) to eliminate strong out-of-band stations coming from
HF.
LPF for HF (70 MHz cut frequency) to eliminate strong out-of-band stations coming from VHF.
On VHF there is 1 dB attenuation in comparison to HF, which does not influence sensitivity
because there an +27 dB VHF LNA.
