Message Waiting Indicator

If the service of the lines supports voice message feature, when the user is not available
to answer the call, the caller can leave a voice message on the server to the user. User
will receive voice message notification from the server and device will prompt a voice
message waiting icon on the standby screen.

To listen to a voice message, the user must first configure the voicemail number. After
the voicemail number is configured, the user can retrieve the voicemail of the default
line.
When the phone is in the default standby state,
z The Side Key is pre-installed with a voice message shortcut key - [MWI] key.
z Press [MWI] to open the voice message configuration interface, and select the line
to be configured by pressing the up/down navigation buttons.
z Press the [Edit] button to edit the voice message number. When finished, press the
[OK] button to save the configuration.
z In the following picture, “11” in front of Fanvil line brackets represents unread voice
messages, and “11” represents the total number of voice messages.
