DPF REGENERATION
4.2.4.1 Operating Procedure for Standard
Regeneration (Normal Driving)
Regeneration Operating Procedure
1. Start the engine.
(Make sure that the DPF inhibit switch lamp is OFF).
Note: When the engine is started, the 'Auto Regeneration'
mode is automatically activated.
When the DPF inhibit switch is pushed after the
engine is started, 'Regeneration Inhibit' mode is
activated.
2. If the soot accumulation condition is achieved in
DPF, DPF lamp will start glowing.
Continue to operate the tractor, and the
regeneration process will begin automatically.
Make sure you are working in safe area as
prescribed in caution section. Regeneration will
tend to rise the DPF and exhaust gas
temperatures.
!
Warning Once the regeneration level has been
reached, immediately perform the required procedure
for regeneration.
Interrupting the regeneration cycle or continued
operation by ignoring the warning signs may cause
DPF and engine damage.
4.2.4.2 Operating Procedure for Stationary
Regeneration (Manual Regeneration)
Regeneration Operating Procedure
1. Start the engine.
2. (Make sure that the DPF inhibit switch lamp is
OFF).
3. When the soot accumulation has crossed the
threshold limit, operator will have to perform
stationary/ manual regeneration.
4. At this point operator is instructed to park the
tractor in ventilated area (away from flammable
material, building, people and animals).
5. Apply parking brakes.
6. Set the gear position to neutral gear.
7. Disconnect the PTO.

11. When all above conditions are met, Press the
DPF Regeneration Switch for 7 sec.
12. The engine rpm will automatically rise, and the
regeneration process will begin.
13. Operator can either seat on vehicle or stand away
from vehicle. If operator is seating on seat then, do
not press accelerator pedal as it will stop the
regeneration process.
14. This process will be continued for approx. 30
mins.
15. After the lamp turns off, normal tractor work may
resume.
NOTE : For normal + stationary regeneration, if
operator is performing any formed and after finishing
stationary regeneration can be done.
