5.23 Hydraulic Trailer Brake
Trailer braking system is independent of the tractor service brake system. Trailer brake valve is mounted on
clutch housing and it is actuated by the linkage which is connected with tractor’s service brake pedal, During
braking, operator presses the brake pedals and actuator assy moves downward, resulting in the rotation of
pushing pin mounting bracket. Therefore sphere pushing pin moves froward and it presses the brake valve
spool resulting in operation of the trailer brake valve.

CAUTION : Once the trailer ram is at full lift, bring back the operation lever, immediately to neutral position.
will cause hydraulic pump to unnecessarily run at full pressure and cause continuous blowing of system
pressure and rise in temperature.
