Chapter 3: CAM2® Q
Single Hole Calibration
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the SINGLE HOLE
CALIBRATION button to calibrate the probe. For more information,
see “Single Hole Method” on page 83.
Sphere Calibration
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the SPHERE CALIBRATION
button to calibrate the probe. For more information, see “Sphere
Method” on page 85.
Hardware Configuration
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the HARDWARE
CONFIGURATION button to change the setup of the FaroArm. For
more information, see “Hardware Configuration” on page 76.
Diagnostics
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the DIAGNOSTICS button to
show the FaroArm D
IAGNOSTICS dialog box. For more information, see
“Diagnostics” on page 87.
Temperature
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the TEMPERATURE button to
show the T
EMPERATURE dialog box. For more information, see
“Temperature” on page 88.
Measurement Mode Setting
From the DEVICE CONTROL panel, click the MEASUREMENT MODE
SETTING button to set the default collection mode in the M
ODE drop-
down window of the M
EASUREMENT WINDOW for this device.

OTE: The MEASUREMENT WINDOW appears when the CAM2 Q
ADD READINGS command is started, or when any measure feature
command is started in MEASURE NOW mode.
In the M
ODE SETTINGS dialog:
• Single Point: press the FRONT button, or the G key, to collect a
single reading.
