3.7.2 Short circuit in the sensor supply at an input module
In the event of a short circuit or overload:
– the sensor supply for all inputs of the module will be
switched off,
– If the green “Diag” LED on the input module flashes
quickly,
– the error bit V

in the octets 9-12 “Device-related diag-
noses 2..5” will be set to log. “1” .
Please note
The outputs cannot be used again until the short circuit or
overload has been eliminated and the error deleted.
Deleting the error
You can delete the error in one of the following ways:
– briefly interrupt the CP connection at the CP output
module
or
– briefly interrupt the operating voltage for the CP system
at the field bus node.
The inputs can then be used again. If the short circuit/over-
load still exists, the error will be shown again.
