3.4.1 General DP master
With the function Set_Prm you have the possibility of deter-
mining the watchdog time (WD_Fact_1, Octet 2, WD_Fact_2,
Octet 3). In the event of an error, e. g. a bus failure, the CP
system will switch off all the valves and electric outputs after
the parametrized time.
3.4.2 Siemens SIMATIC S5/S7
With these controllers, you have the possibility of determin-
ing the reaction of the CP system to the faults named (details
see controller manual).
Almost all configuration programs contain the function “Re-
sponse monitoring”. For the operating modes named, the
time specified corresponds to the drop-off time of the valves
and electric outputs.
