1.6.2 Bus termination with terminating resistors
Please note
Use a bus termination at both ends of the bus cable. This
also applies when the module or the communication pro-
cessor is at the beginning of a bus cable.
IftheCPsystemisattheendofthefieldbussystem,abus
termination will be required.
Recommendation:
For this purpose use the ready-to-use sub-D plug from Festo
(part no. 18529). A suitable resistor network is incorporated
in the housing of the Festo sub-D plug. The bus termination
must be switched manually .
