2.1.3 Compiling the configuration list
Configuration list Before commissioning or programming, compile a configur-
ation list of all connected field bus slaves. On the basis of
this list, you can carry out the following:
S form a comparison between the NOMINAL and ACTUAL
configurations stored in the CP field bus node, in order to
recognise connection faults
S accesss these specifications during the syntax check of a
program, in order to avoid addressing errors.
Configuration of the CP system requires a very accurate pro-
cedure, as different configuration specifications are required
for each system, due, amongst other things, to the modular
structure of each system. Please observe here the instruc-
tions in the following sections.
