2.4 Device data base (GSD)
Device data bases The accompanying CD ROM contains the device data base
(GSD) with the specific, standardized device data bases for
the CP system.
Further information can be found in the file “Readme” on the
CD ROM.
Y o u can also find the GSD in the “GSD library” in Internet
under http://www.profibus.com.
In addition to slave-typical entries (Ident. number, Revision,
etc.), the device data base also contains a selection of ident-
ifiers.
Enter the identifiers for the CP system in the following se-
quence:
1. Digital inputs
2. Digital outputs
