Measuring point number
• Select the menu item Measuring point no.
•Select Number if the measuring point is to be identified only by numbers. Select Text if the measuring point is to be
identified only by characters.
• Press ENTER.
Error delay
The error delay is the time after which an error value will be sent to an output if no valid measured values are available.
• Select the menu item Error value delay.
•Select Edit to enter an error delay. Select Damping if the damping factor is to be used as the error delay.
• Press ENTER.
Transducer distance
• Select the menu item Transducer distance.
•Select User-defined if the measuring point is always the same. Select Automatic if the measuring point often
changes.
• Press ENTER.
In the program branch Measurement, the recommended transducer distance will be displayed in parenthesis, below the
entered transducer distance.
Sound speed of the reference fluid
• Select the menu item Compare c fluid.
Select Yes if the difference c = c

is the calculated
sound speed of the reference fluid at same process conditions (temperature, pressure).
Compare c fluid can also be activated or deactivated during the measurement and has an immediate effect on the dis-
play of the measured values.
• Press key during the measurement to scroll to the display of c.
Display of the last value
• Select the menu item Display last value.
•Select Yes to display the last valid value.
If Yes is selected and no valid measured value can be displayed during the measurement, the channel will display the last
valid value. Behind this value a a question mark will be displayed.
