The secondary diodes can be measured in
the de-energised state with a multimeter in
diode test mode.
A voltage of approx. 0.35 V must be measu-
red in the conducting direction of the diode
(1). Other measuring results indicate a de-
fect in the diode, meaning it must be repla-
ced.
Transil diodes (3) function in a similar way
to the Zener diode principle and are con-
ductive above a certain voltage. If the dio-
des have low resistance, this indicates a
defect and the PC board must be replaced.
Check the capacitors (2) to see whether
there is blistering.
This indicates a defect and the PC board
must be replaced.
Measuring points on the intermediate circuit
Measuring points on the intermediate circuit
(1) GND
(2) Measuring point DC
Between (1) and (2) a voltage of 410 V DC
must be measured with a multimeter
(3) GND
(4) Measuring point AC
Between (3) and (4), an AC voltage accor-
ding to the existing mains voltage must be
measured with a multimeter.
