fuse protection
The mains fuse protection selected on the power source limits the power drawn in from the
mains and in turn the possible welding current. This prevents the automatic circuit breaker
(e.g. in the fuse box) from tripping straight away.
The desired mains fuse protection can be selected on the power source depending on the
mains voltage and automatic circuit breaker used.
The following table shows which mains voltages and fuse ratings limit the welding current.
