3.5 Rack installation instructions
● When connecting and disconnecting cables, follow the instructions in
chapter “Important information” in the technical manual for the corre-
sponding rack. The technical manual for the rack is supplied along with the
rack itself.
● When setting up the rack, make sure that the anti-tilt mechanism is correctly
fitted.
● For safety reasons, no more than one unit may be removed from the rack at
any one time during installation and maintenance work.
● If several units are simultaneously removed from the rack, there is a risk that
the rack could tip over.
● The rack must be connected to the power supply by an authorized specialist
(electrician).
● If the server is integrated into an installation that draws power from an indus-
trial power supply network with an IEC309 connector, the power supply's
fuse protection must comply with the requirements for non-industrial power
supply networks for type A connectors.
