Connecting devices to the server Hardware installation
The standard ports on the rear are marked with symbols, and some are color-
coded:

Ê Connect the data cables to the server and peripherals.
4.3.1 Connecting the monitor
Ê Plug the data cable for the monitor into the monitor port on the server (item 5
in figure 9 on page 52).
Ê Connect the insulated connector on the monitor power cable to a grounded
outlet in the rack's socket strip (see also the technical manual for the rack).
