What to do if Furuno Marine Radar set to maximum gain shows marks but no noise or echo?
    • K
      Kimberly Johnson MDAug 25, 2025
If your Furuno Marine Radar displays marks and indications but no noise or echo when the gain is at maximum and sea clutter is at minimum, the problem could be with the signal cable, IF amplifier, or video amplifier board. Check the continuity and isolation of the coaxial cable. If the cable is good, replace the IF amplifier. Also, check the coax line for a secure connection; if the connection is good, replace the SPU board.
