Stress Tests: Running a Stress Test
During the test you can do the following.
Change the load in 5-Watt increments with (not possible
with all bicycle ergometers), or change the speed in steps, or
deactivate the automatic load increase with .
Change the treadmill grade in 0.1% increments with ,.
Advance to the next stage with , , .
Advance to the next phase with , , .
Start and stop the treadmill with , .
Initiate additional report printouts with .
Change the gain with .
Stop the test with .

When you press or , the program enters the manual mode
and the phase name is given as Manual. For safety reasons, the
program maintains the current stage and the button is inactive.
You can only control the test manually with the and
buttons (speed, grade). When you push , the program increments
to the next stage and a stage report is printed. With you
advance to the next phase.
At the end of each load stage and, if configured, with the ECG interval,
the recorder prints a 12-lead report and the median complexes of all 12
leads, including the ST measurement results.
Depending on what was selected in the Setup menu, this is either a
Comparative Medians Report or a Medians Report.

If the unit runs out of paper during the test, a message informs you
of the problem. After inserting new paper, acknowledge the message
with . Do NOT press ; this will abort the test.
