PIN Dialing
The MAC 1200/1200 ST can be set up so a facility can dial in with a PIN
(Personal Identification Number) and a calling card.
To enable the PIN dialing function, follow these steps.
1. Within the Communication Setup window, select the appropriate
modem.
2. Move the cursor to the prompt PIN Dialing.
3. Select Yes.
4. Enter information for the following fields:
 Delay (ddddd)
 Service provider (sssss)
 PIN (pppppppp)
 Phone number (xxxxx)
 Outside line (yyyyyy)
5. Save this setting by pressing .
Manual Dialing
The MAC 1200/1200 ST can be set up so a facility can manually dial in to
transmit ECG records.
To enable the manual dialing function, follow these steps.
1. Within the Communication Setup window, select CSI/A5 Protocol
Select.
2. Move the cursor to the prompt Manual Dialing.
3. Select Yes.
4. Save this setting by pressing .
