Creating a New Protocol
1. Position the cursor on [new proto.] and push . A screen appears
showing 3 command buttons and a list of all existing protocols.
2. Select a protocol (in the figure on the next page, protocol 4 STD
FRANCE is selected) and confirm with .
3. Position the cursor on [new proto.] and confirm with .
You will see the Protocol Editor with the parameters for STD FRANCE.
Question marks appear in place of the protocol name. You can overwrite
them with a name of your choice. The test parameters can be edited as
needed.
Resetting the Protocol
With the reset proto. command, you can restore all parameters to the
values that were active when you first called up the protocol editor.
Printing the Protocol
Initiates a printout of the displayed protocol.
Saving the Protocol (OK)
With OK, you save the displayed protocol.
Quitting the Protocol Editor
With the Escape command, you quit the Protocol Editor. Changes to the
parameter values will be ignored and are not saved.
