PRELIMINARY
8-2-4 Rear Cover Replacement Procedure

Phillips screwdriver of appropriate size.

8-2-4-3 Preparations
1.) Shut down the Venue Fit™ ultrasound unit, as described in Power Shutdown.
2.) Prepare stable flat surface covered with a soft material (such as foam or thick cloth) to prevent
scratches to the display.
3.) Dismount Venue Fit™ system from cart as described in Mounting / Dismounting System on Cart
and place it on a previously prepared surface with the display facing down.
8-2-4-4 Rear Cover Removal Procedure
1) Remove the battery.
2) Release 7 captive screws.
Note: IMPORTANT! Ensure the screws are fully released before removing the cover, to avoid
damaging the touch display screw heli-coils.
