8-16 Chapter 8 - Replacement Procedures

8-2-8 M-BEB and SSD Replacement Procedure

Phillips screwdriver of appropriate size

8-2-8-3 Preparations
1.) Shut down the Venue Fit™ ultrasound unit, as described in Power Shutdown.
2.) Prepare stable flat surface covered with a soft material (such as foam or thick cloth) to prevent
scratches to the display.
3.) Dismount Venue Fit™ system from cart as described in Mounting / Dismounting System on Cart
and place it on a previously prepared surface with the display facing down.
8-2-8-4 M-BEB Removal Procedure
1) Remove rear cover.
2) Remove Speakers.
3) Remove M-PSB.
4) Remove the fan.
5.) Remove the magnetic absorber (MAGRAM) cover from the top of the back-end, by gently lifting the
right side upwards, and gently pressing the connector knobs inwards (2 knobs in each side)
