Navigating on the Screen
Using the Stylus
Use the stylus to navigate and select objects
on the screen.
Pull the stylus out of the slot and extend it
for ease of use. Store it in the slot when not
in use.
z Tap
Touch the screen once with the stylus to
open an item or select an object.
z Tap and hold
Tap and hold the stylus on an item to see
a list of actions available for that item.
z Drag
Hold the stylus on an item and, without
lifting the stylus, move across the screen
until you reach the target position.
z Swipe or slide
Move the stylus across the screen, without pausing when you first touch
it (so you don’t “drag” instead). For example, you slide the screen up or
down to scroll a list.
Using the Keypad
You can also use the keypad to navigate on the screen. (See “
Keypad” in Chapter 1 for information.)
