Messaging
Use the Messaging application to exchange text messages (SMS) and
multimedia messages (MMS) with your friends on their mobile phones.
Reading and Responding to Messages
1. Tap the Messaging icon in the Launcher
(
) to open the message list screen.

When you receive a new message, you
will see a new message notification icon
in the Status bar (unless you have
disabled the feature). Tap the notification
to open the message list screen.
2. Tap a message thread to open it.
If you have disabled the auto-retrieve
feature of MMS, you have to tap
Download to view a MMS message.
3. If the message contains a media file, tap Play to view, watch, or listen to
it.
4. While in the message list, you can tap and hold a message to open a
menu with number of options for working with the message and its
sender’s information.
