How to Laminate
※ Checking Points for Test Operation
1) Overlapped distance : Ideally, 3~5mm.
If overlapped distance is too short, press "PAPER LENGTH" on "MAIN" mode of Control Panel
to reduce setting value of substrate length.
2) Curling on Substrate : Check the curling status of substrate and adjust curling with decurler.
It is natural thing to have curled laminated results for single side lamination. Then, this is not caused by a trouble in laminator.
Curling Way for Right Direction Rotating of Handle
Curling Way for Left Direction Rotating of Handle
Adjust the Decurler Angle for Substrates Thickness and its Materials.
3) Laminating Status : Check the status with variation of setting temp. speed and pressure.
Each conditions has to be adjusted for film / substrate status.
Quality of Adhesion is proportional to temp. and pressure and is inversely proportional to speed.
4) Cutting Status : Check operation time for bursting roller and Perforator setting status.
◐ LAMINATION
If the test lamination has a good results, increase its speed for lamination.
NOTES
1. Stop while lamination job could make mark on the laminated results.
2. Basically, the thicker substrate requires the further slower speed and the higher temp.
3. Basically, the thinner substrate requires the further faster speed and the lower temp.
4. If it requires to have the exact lamination condition but no / rare test materials, set conditions with the similar materials firstly.
after on, check its required estimated conditions to the lamination.
5. If a sheet would not be fed into the feeder, this will be a cause of wrinkle on the laminated results.
