  If the media curls up at the corners or fine cut characters peel off when using your Graphtec Plotter, it could be due to several reasons: the blade being extended too far, a mismatch between the blade and OFFSET settings, the cutting speed being too high, a dull blade, or the ACCELERATION setting being too high. Try adjusting the blade length, changing the OFFSET, lowering the speed setting, replacing the blade, and lowering the ACCELERATION setting.

  If the Graphtec Plotter displays "POSITION ALARM" during initialization or cutting, it could be due to several reasons. The CONDITION setting for the media might be invalid, so try slowing down the speed or lowering the FORCE. An object might be disturbing the pen carriage; remove any obstructions and restart the plotter. External force applied to the pen carriage or media chaff in the operation area can also cause this, so remove any obstacles and restart. If none of these solutions work, the plotter may be defective, and you should contact your sales representative or the Graphtec call center.
