8.5 Front Guide Assembly
Detaching the front guide assembly
(1) Detach the top, left, right side side and front covers (see Sections 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4).
(2) Remove the two M3L6 binding head screws holding the front guide assembly from each side.

(3) Detach the front guide assembly from the scanner unit.
Reattaching the front guide assembly
(1) Reattach the front guide assembly in the reverse order in which it was detached.
Checkpoint
When reattaching the front guide assembly, make sure that the front guide assembly does not touch the front drive
roller.
