8.15 Media Sensor (PS117ND1)
Detaching the media sensors
(1) Detach the top and shield covers (see Sections 8.1 and 8.6).
(2) Detach the board base assembly (see Section 8.12).
(3) Disconnect the cable that is connected to the front or rear media sensor.
Rear media sensor
M3L12 binding head screw
Front media sensor
Media sensor cable
(4) Remove the M3L12 binding head screws holding the front or rear media sensor.
(5) Detach the media sensor from the board base assembly.
Reattaching the cover sensors
(1) Reattach the media sensors by reversing the sequence of steps in which they were detached.
