• Release the platform travel latch ( 1 ) by lifting up on the handle, and pivoting the platform
upright.
Platform travel latch
• Platform locking pins ( 2 ) will engage (protrude through) in the pivot locking holes on the
platform mount ( 4 ) when the platform ( 1 ) is in full upright position. Verify that the platform
is locked into place. To release the locking pins ( 2 ), squeeze the latch knobs ( 5 ) together.
• Verify that the platform ( 1 ) is properly attached to the platform mount ( 4 ) on the boom end.
The retaining pin 3 should be fully inserted through the platform ( 1 ) and the platform
mount ( 4 ) on the boom end.
Platform locking pins
Failure to verify proper attachment of the platform to the boom end could cause the platform to separate
from the boom; this could result in death or serious injury.
