Starting the
restore process
8 Double-click on the LST file to open it. --> The TNCbackup window appears.
8 Start the data transfer with the menu item Run/Restore (or with the corresponding icon).
8 To restore PLC data (PLC archive, full backup) you need to know the PLC code number:
8 Enter and confirm the code number.
8 Confirm the following warning with OK:
8 Confirm the message regarding automatic control reset with Yes!
8 The data is being restored:
8 When restoring is finished, this window is closed.
8 You can now close the TNCbackup window.
8 Separate the connection.
8 Close the TNCremoNT window.
8 Restart the control after successfully restoring the machine backup (reboot).
Now the machine should operate as usual.
If you receive the error message Wrong password, date and time of the control and the laptop
probably do not correspond.
You may have to reset the system time on the control. --> See ”Setting the system time” on page
13 – 173.
