Switch off the machine, take precautions against
resetting and ensure that it is free of potential.
Open the housing side of the PSL 130.
Danger: There could still be residual voltage in
the power supply unit; do not touch any components!
Finding faults in PSL 130
The machine is on.
Carefully measure whether there are 400 V~ +/-10%
between L1 and L2 of the connector X33
(on the upper side of the PSL 130).
The PSL 130 is defective and must be replaced.
Yes
No
400 V~ available?
Yes
If connected: Carefully measure whether a dc-link
voltage (565V- +/- 10 % or 650 V-) is present at
the conductor bars of the PSL 130.
Uz available?
Yes
Shut down the control.
Check the fuses.
Fuses OK?
No
No
Restore the 400 V supply.
Restore the Uz supply.
Exchange the fuses as
described in this chapter.
Wait at least 5 minutes; then ensure again that
there is zero potential in the dc link.
Label the wires before disconnecting them,
and remove the PSL 130.
