It is likely that the power module
or the output stage is defective.
Does the error move
to the other axis
(e.g. from X to Y)?
Exchange the PWM ribbon cables of the axes
concerned at the power modules or output stages.
Caution: Be careful when engaging the connectors;
do not bend any pins!
Switch on the machine tool.
Move the axes.
Connect the motor connections to the power modules
or compact inverter suited to the PWM inputs.
Attention:
If the motor brakes are controlled by the power
modules, these connectors must be switched, too!
Swapping power modules or output stages
of the same type
Shut down the control and switch off the power switch
at the machine tool. Take precautions against resetting.
Ensure that the equipment is free or potential!
It is likely that the error is in the
mechanics, the motor, the motor
cable, the PWM ribbon cable or
the interface at the control.
