Shipping brace
of the HDR
8 Secure the HDR for transport!
(The hard disk is mounted on a steel plate that is inserted into the guideways of the plastic housing.
--> See sticker "Locking the hard disk" on the HDR.)

Installing the
new HDR
8 Loosen the shipping brace; the HDR must be unimpeded! --> See sticker "Unlocking the hard disk"
on the HDR.
8 Check whether all plug connections at the HDR are seated firmly.
8 Insert and lock (by pressing down the handle) the new HDR.
8 Switch on the power switch of the machine.
Do not overextend the locking hook; just lift it slightly.
