5.4 Path Contours - Cartesian Coordinates

Straight line

To program a straight line, you enter:
l
The coordinates of the end point @
l
If necessary:
Radius compensation, feed rate, miscellaneous function
The tool moves in a straight line from its starting position @ to the end
point 0. The starting position was reached in the previous block.

To program a straight line
e.g.

Identify coordinates as relative values.
Select the axis (by soft key or alphabetic keyboard), for example X.
Enter the coordinate of the end point.
If a coordinate is negative, press the - key once, for example
IX=-50 mm.
Enter all further coordinates of the end point
After entering all coordinates, close the dialog with the ENT key
