3.1 Simple Test Operations
This section describes the Simple Test operation. The Simple Test
generates an (adjustable rate) high voltage ramp until a breakdown
happens. The user may repeat the procedure for one insulator-oil filling and
that will be considered as a single test. The possible settings are the rate of
rise for the voltage and the stirrer control. At the end of the test the system
will prompt the user for a printout and the test results will be stored in the
History structure (see paragraph xxx).
The flowchart in figure 3-1 depicts the operations of the Simple Test.
