5.1 Triggering Measurement Start and Stop
100
There are three ways to set the criteria to start and stop recording according to
waveform slope.
Select whether to trigger at the rising or f
alling edge of the input signal.
5.1 Triggering Measurement Start and Stop
Types of Trigger Criteria
Type of Analog
Trigger
Trigger Example Description
Level Trigger
(p. 102)
[Level]
Recording starts (or stops) when the
input signal crosses the specified trig-
ger level (voltage).
Window Trigger
(p. 103)
[In]
Recording starts (or stops) when the
input signal enters a range defined by
upper and lower thresholds.
[Out]
Recording starts (or stops) when the
input signal exits a range defined by
upper and lower thresholds.
Logic Trigger
(p. 104)
[1]
Measuring starts and stops when the
input signal logic switches from Low to
High.
[0]
Measuring starts and stops when the
input signal logic switches from High to
Low.
[X]
Signal is ignored. No triggering occurs.
