2.8 OCP Mezzanine Card
Installing an OCP Mezzanine Card
1. Remove the mainboard sled. See Removing a Mainboard Sled on page 2-11.
2. Remove the riser assembly. See Removing a PCIe Riser Assembly on page 2-14.
3. Remove the screws securing the bracket to the chassis.
4. Remove the filler from the bracket.
5. Align the connector on the OCP mezzanine card to the slot on the mainboard and
secure with screws.
6. Install the corresponding bracket to the back panel.

7. Install the PCIe riser assembly. See Installing a PCIe Riser Assembly on page 2-17.
8. Install the mainboard sled. See Installing a Mainboard Sled on page 2-13.
9. Replace the system in the rack and connect to the power source.
Removing an OCP Mezzanine Card
1. Disconnect the power source and remove the system from the rack frame.
2. Remove the mainboard sled. See Removing a Mainboard Sled on page 2-11.

ENSURE ALL POWER IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE SYSTEM BEFORE PROCEEDING.
