6. Hold the DIMM module by the ends and remove it from the system. Place the DIMM
module in an antistatic packaging.

Installing a Memory Module
1. Locate the DIMM slot to populate and open the ejector levers (A) at both ends of the
DIMM slot.
2. Align the notch on the DIMM module with the protrusion on the slot.
3. Press down on both corners of the DIMM module until the ejector levers lock in
place.

4. Install the repeater module. See Installing a Repeater Module on page 2-28.
CAUTION!
HANDLE THE MEMORY MODULE BY THE EDGES AT ALL TIMES.
