Removing a Processor
To remove the processor:
1. Disconnect the power source and pull the system out of the rack frame.
2. Remove
the top cover.
3. In a sequential order, loosen the captive screws on the heat sink.
4. Remove the heat sink assembly from the socket on the mainboard by grasping the
front and rear short sides of the heatsink.

5. Dissengage the fasteners from the heat sink to unlock the bracket.
