5.2.12 Setup Rotor Data - Units and Toler-
ances
Main menu \ Rotor settings.
Select "Units & Tolerances" tab.
Enter values or change settings:
Press the "Apply" key.
Tolerance Setup Enter balancing tolerances and cor-
rection limits.
Tolerance target Enter balancing tolerance separately
for plane 1, plane 2, for static unbal-
ance and for couple unbalance.
Select tolerance unit by clicking into
one of the unit fields and, if required,
select a new unit.
Workpiece with smaller unbalance
values than the preset tolerance limit
are within tolerance.
Lower correction
limit
Values generally smaller than the as-
sociated tolerance limit. Workpieces
with larger unbalance have to be cor-
rected.
Upper correction
limit
Workpieces with larger unbalance are
rejected.
Quality calculation The tolerance limits are calculated
based on the values entered for qual-
ity class, rotor mass, nominal rotor
speed and mass distribution of
planes.
Press the "Use Quality calculation"
key.
Setup Units Select units for unbalance, tolerance
limits etc.
