MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the pins are staked properly by
measuring the diameter of the staked area using a slide
caliper [1].
After staking, check the staked area of the master link
for cracks.
If there is any cracking, replace the master link, O-rings
and plate.
DRIVE CHAIN SLIDER
Check the drive chain slider for wear or damage.
The drive chain slider must be replaced if it is worn to
the wear indicator [1] (page 18-16).
DIAMETER OF THE STAKED AREA:
DID: 5.40 – 5.60 mm (0.213 – 0.220 in)
RK: 5.25 – 5.65 mm (0.207 – 0.222 in)
