Videos cannot be recorded during the replacement of the VCN500.
Do not operate with power on. Take appropriate insulation measures.
Procedure
Step 1 Turn off the power switch of the VCN500, disconnect the power supply of the VCN500,
remove the cables from the VCN500, label the cables, and record the original connection
positions of the cables.
After removing cables, wrap exposed terminals with insulation tape and do not block cable
labels. If cable labels are blocked, cables may be connected incorrectly.
Step 2 Remove the faulty VCN500 from the cabinet.
Step 3 Place a new VCN500 with caution into the IT cabinet, and gently press down buttons on the
upper and lower mounting ears, as shown in Figure 7-13.

Step 4 Tighten the captive screws in the ears using a Phillips screwdriver to close the mounting ear
buttons, as shown in Figure 7-14.
