Prerequisites
l An ONU has been added to the optical line terminal (OLT). For details, see 10.6.1.3 Adding
an ONU to an OLT.
l Run the display xdsl mode command to check whether the VDSL2 mode is the desired
mode. The default mode is TR129. If the current mode is not the desired one, run the switch
vdsl mode to command in diagnose mode to switch the mode to the desired mode.
NOTE
l A fiber to the door (FTTD) network supports only the TR129 and TR165 modes.
l G.INP takes effect preferentially if both G.INP and SRA are enabled.
Typical VDSL2 Line Parameter Configurations
Key parameters to be configured do not vary with the VDSL2 mode but belong to different
profiles. Hence, commands for configuring the key parameters vary with the VDSL2 mode.
Table 10-3 lists the typical configurations for key parameters of a VDSL2 line (26 AWG, 0.4
mm twisted pair). Information provided in this table is for reference only. Usually, take the
default values for the other parameters.
