17 Decommissioning
17.1 Temporary decommissioning
For temporary decommissioning and storage, a roofed area is suitable. To prepare for storage,
please proceed as follows:
• Switch off the machine as described in the chapter Transport
• Empty the container
• Clean the container if necessary
• Perform all lubrication according to the lubrication chart
• Park the machine on a level surface
NOTE!
Covering the machine with foil promotes rust formation due to condensation.

• Do not cover the machine with foil!
DANGER!
Transport with an improperly locked container door is prohibited.
• Lock the container door before re-transporting!
DANGER!
Only use the approved transport vehicles, paying attention to the payload of the truck.
Make sure that the press is properly placed on the truck, locked and secured.
Transport, loading and unloading may only be carried out by trained personnel.
When picking up the compactor onto the truck and unloading, no persons are allowed
to stay in the danger zone.
