14.1 Means of Transport
Depending on the model, the machine is designed for transport with a hook-lift vehicle, roll-
off tipper, skip loader, wire or chain lift vehicle. The exact system must be determined in ad-
vance with the manufacturer. Consult the operating instructions of the vehicle manufacturer.
The lifting hook at the filling opening can be designed as a rigid hook or as a drop-down hook
depending on which one the customer prefers.
The drop-down hook is attached with four galvanized bolts. The two upper retaining bolts can
be equipped with galvanized chains. Furthermore, the two lower bolts are secured with galva-
nized cotter pins. The tiltable hook is folded down by putting the two upper retaining bolts
into an upright position and then they are pulled out to the stop.
ATTENTION! MISUSE
In order to avoid damage to the tipping shafts of skip loader compactors, the chain
length must be set to a bolt height of 950 mm before the take-up.
The number of chain links can be found in the operating instructions of the manu-
facturer of the skip loader.
ATTENTION!
Defective hooks must not be repaired, but always renewed.
ATTENTION!
CRUSHING
Do not reach between drop-down hook and compaction head.
