10.4.1 Loading bay operation with a centrally divided lid with fall protection (option)
If a portable compactor with a centrally divided lid is operated frontally from a loading bay
which is not secured by a railing, a fall protection must be fitted to the compactor.
Please observe DIN 30730!
The fall protection can be ordered under article number 01800064. These are two connecting
rods, which are suspended between the cover halves and secured. For transport, or if not re-
quired, the connecting rods are placed on the side of the compactor at the designated holders.
The following pictures show how to mount the connecting rods.
